Fear Period (2-3 weeks between 5 and 12 weeks) - Puppies show stronger fear reactions and retain their fear of an object/person; Puppies can be ruined by a single traumatic experience (global or specific fear, hyperexcitability, separation anxiety); Puppies vary (genetically) as to how susceptible they are; Be careful if you have to ship a puppy
